Airbnb-Styled Homes Shows How the Company is Shaping the Future of Housing

The future of the home might be shared if these Airbnb-styled homes have any say in the matter. The company is attempting to make more active moves when it comes to having spaces that can accommodate guests in as unobtrusive a way as possible. Not everyone has the luxury of renting out their entire home, so Joe Gebbia, Airbnb’s cofounder and chief product officer, has taken it upon himself to delve into hacks people have come up with make their houses more inviting.

By doing so, Gebbia has started making plans to help create Airbnb-styled homes for the future. Although the details of such shared homes are still fuzzy, Airbnb recently participated in "House Vision, an expo that pairs designers, architects, and companies like Muji, Toyota, and Toto to build concept homes and installations that explore future living scenarios," writes Fast Co Exist, which can yield some interesting insights.
