Airbnb Unveils a Charming Base Kamogawa with the Help of MUJI

Airbnb works in collaboration with MUJI to unveil a new charming traditional home dubbed the Base Kamogawa. It is designed as a remodeled century-old traditional Japanese home that offers visitors a more authentic experience of what it's like to live in an ancient city.

The home's interior is renovated with functional items by MUJI including bedding, air diffusers, furniture, and more. It blends seamlessly into the wooden and paper details of the surroundings. In terms of the food, guests are able to indulge in seasonal local meals to enjoy the home's surrounding natural beauty. It rests in the rural Nagasa area of Kamogawa City in the Chiba Prefecture. Finally, the amenities are also done by MUJI.
