Experimental Herbal Liqueurs

9556 Nights of Exploration is a Limited Jägermeister Expression

Jägermeister, known for its distinctive herbal liqueur with a complex and unique flavor profile, launched a limited-edition expression called 9556 Nights of Exploration that was matured for more than 25 years in an oak barrel. Naturally, there are limited quantities of this expression and just 2,500 bottles will be shared globally.

This new expression shares the results of a one-time experiment by Dr Günther Findel, the late son-in-law of Jägermeister creator Curt Mast. Findel set out to find how the base material of Jägermeister would develop over a longer period of maturation. The few people who will be able to get their hands on a bottle of Jägermeister's 9556 Nights of Exploration will get to experience the liquid matured in a single barrel in Wolfenbüttel, Germany.

Notably, 9556 Nights of Exploration isn't meant to be served ice-cold like the core Jägermeister product—it is best served in a tumbler at room temperature, or over ice.
