Alongside innovative eco-friendly, ultra-aerodynamic and autonomous long-haul trucks that are designed to deliver goods in large quantities, companies are turning to small-scale delivery trikes and rovers within urban environments. Some examples of this can be seen from innovators like Urban Arrow and Einride, as well as several food delivery services that are now employing robotic delivery assistants in cities. Alongside prioritizing comfort, these emerging transportation concepts also put a premium on convenience and automation of simple tasks.
