Hybrid nutrition innovations meld charity and business practices in order to create a third sphere of its own that is quite a bit different. That is to say, some of the organizations featured here may have some recognizable features, for instance, perhaps a "one for one" donation model. Others, however, may only make sense to you if you're interested or invested in the social entrepreneurship field at large.
While malnutrition is historically an issue that has been tackled by a charities of all kinds, some of these hybrid nutrition innovations are using business principles for the same end. Some, however, are perhaps less broad in their reach and simply look at nutrition for nutrition's sake and not the side that speaks to hunger.
