Nest Collective is a social enterprise and certified B Corporation built on values surrounding baby, toddler and youth nutrition. They sell "mission-driven consumer product brands" that offer organic foods geared at this age group.
This includes Plum Organics, which creates organic choices for babies and toddlers, and Revolution Foods which creates products ideal for lunches of school age children. Neither line uses trans fats, artifical ingredients, harmful chemicals, high fructose corn syrup or GMOS.
The main social mission behind Nest Collective is to nourish children with healthier foods, which it does through the high grade products it sells, and through its school lunch program. Nest Collective donates 3% of sales to this program to help make healthy food accessible to children at schools that would otherwise not have nutritious options.
"By introducing our little ones to real food with tastes and textures that nurture palate development, we can inspire a joy of healthy eating," the founders explain on their website. "And as they grow, they'll be empowered to make better choices for themselves along the way."
To top off the health benefits, this social enterprise is also innovative. Their product packaging not only looks fun and child-friendly, but it also has unique design features, like the Plum Dispensing Spoon, which leaves parents with little excuse to feed their babies anything less healthy, even on the go.
