Since vending machines are commonly filled with things like potato chips, soda and candy bars, they are naturally associated with junk food—however, these examples of healthy vending machines are helping to reverse this notion and make wellness seem just as convenient and tasty.

These unconventional machines swap bad-for-you foods with healthier options like fruits, vegetables, salads, freshly pressed juices and even whole meals that are provided on a daily basis. But since eating is only half the battle when it comes to one's overall wellness, there are also several vending machines that put a focus on activity and exercise, encouraging people to grab a pair of sneakers or bike parts while they're out and about, rather than indulging in an unhealthy snack.
