The Farmer's Fridge Provides Healthy, Eco-Friendly Food On-The-Go

There is a vending machine for just about everything nowadays, so it is only natural that ones with healthier food options would be introduced; enter the Farmer's Fridge. It is a vending machine specializing in robust salads that would appeal to many, even those hankering for a chocolate bar or burger instead. The Farmer's Fridge packs these leafy greens in sealed, recyclable containers in order to better promote their conscientiousness on various related levels.

Made fresh every morning, the salads are placed in the Farmer's Fridge by 10 am. Unsold salads are donated to a local food pantry. Founded by Luke Saunders, the automated refrigerated kiosks are currently only available in Chicago, Illinois. Considering how much they cut down counter costs while providing easy access to healthy foods on the go, they will surely expand sooner than later.
