From Geometric Nature Tattoos to Geometric Op-Art Posters

 - Jul 12, 2015
Talented artists have been using shapes to create beautifully constructed geometric art designs. Whether an artist's medium is paint on a wall or ink on someone's skin, the intricate and precise execution of this abstract artwork is fascinating.

Geometric art designs have emerged in the tattoo industry as artists are creating different ways to present body art. For example, Bicem Sinik creates unique geometric tattoos by incorporating a connect-the-dot style that reveals distinct shapes that form animal images on skin. Other artists use photography to capture interesting geometric art shapes in buildings and landscapes.

The art of piecing together flat-edged shapes to build puzzle-like artworks is a visually pleasing presentation. It can be used to recreate popular animals or simply to show cityscapes in a new perspective.
