Israeli tattoo artist Chaim Machlev lives in Berlin where he creates these breathtaking black ink tattoos in a series titled 'Dots to Lines.' Each of tattoos explicitly uses black ink to replicate the look of symmetrical objects and vivid geometric shapes.
Many of Machlev's tattoos are large in scale and take up a large portion of the body. In some cases, Machlev's tattoos span over entire backs and chests of various individuals. Machlev takes his design inspiration from the linear look of geometric shapes as he recreates animals, insects and mountains with detailed lines and forms. The bold use of solely black ink makes Machlev's tattoos look like ink sketches that have been preserved on the body for all time.
