The obsession with technology has become commonplace; as more and more consumers opt for newfangled gadgets, the rise of flexible tech designs is removing restrictions on what's possible with a piece of smart technology. Years ago, the idea of flexible tech was merely something that was thought to be a touch on the science fiction side of things, but the development of new materials and beyond is expanding the ability of technology to bend with the user.
Moreover, beyond flexible tech we're seeing the rise of waterproof technology which is making technology that much more resilient but also raises another question: if devices become tougher than ever, what will prompt users to upgrade? Is the market innovative enough to be supported by users upgrading out of want versus need? Only time will tell.
