Halloween may be over, but thanks to the new Robert Pattinson flick, Twilight, vampires are very much on people’s minds.

The British actor, who plays a blood thirsty vampire named Edward Cullen, is getting so much attention from fans (mostly teen girls), they are having to cancel media events for Robert Pattinson’s own safety.

The success of the movie, based on Stephenie Meyer’s books, was so sudden, unexpected, and so potent. Now there are even rumors of Oscar love for both Twilight and Robert Pattinson.
