22 Surreal Skydiving Stunts

With the Red Bull Stratos skydive event just moments away, millions prepare to watch Felix Baumgartner make the highest free fall jump known to man. The whole event is sponsored by Red Bull, naturally.

Felix Baumgartner plans to ascend into the edge of space and jump from 120,000 feet in the stratosphere. Felix will then plummet to earth at supersonic speeds before, hopefully, parachuting to the ground. The entire experiment is designed to provide some valuable scientific and medical data.

Many have taken to the skies to put their bodies to the limit and skydiving has become a great stunt for thrill-seeking individuals. Companies and businesses have even used skydiving as a form of a publicity stunt to get more attention.
