33 Nontraditional Easter Eggs

While there are some classic Easter eggs and confections that consumers turn to year after year, there are tons of nontraditional Easter eggs that have been introduced for the holiday that put a fun twist on convention.

As an alternative to producing hollow chocolate eggs, as most confectionery companies do to keep costs down, The Solid Chocolate Company released its solid chocolate easter eggs, which instantly became a hit. Although they are understandable more expensive than their hollow counterparts, they quickly sold out, but are currently accepting pre-orders for Easter next year.

Some other nontraditional Easter eggs that are standouts include egg-shaped cheeses from So Wrong It's Nom and Ford Farms, as well as the hyperrealistic egg set from the Chocolate Trading Company that resembles hen's eggs.
