A surprisingly affordable Aldi Easter egg was launched to celebrate the upcoming holidays. It's reported that all of the eggs are manufactured by a family of professional chocolate makers in St Ives, a port town in Cornwall, England.
Inside of one of the Aldi Easter eggs is Marc de Champagne. The other is filled with Praline truffles, which is considered to be one of the highest-quality chocolates around, due to its delectable creamy taste.
In addition, all of the eggs are hand-finished with chocolate crystals or cocoa dusting swirl. An Aldi representative commented on the launch by saying: "Easter is a time of indulgence and we have pulled out all the stops this year to create a truly show-stopping treat without the luxury price tag."
