This year, Prestat released a variation on classic milk chocolates for Easter with the 'London Gin Truffle Easter Egg.' The unique chocolate egg features an outer shell of milk chocolate that's flavored with lemon oil. Although this is a treat in and of itself, the brand doesn't stop there. On the inside of the egg, there are also truffles made with ganache, gin, more lemon oil and a secret ingredient that promises to fizz on the tongue.
The luxury chocolate is wrapped in a delicate gold foil and packaged in a bed of colored tissue inside of a box.
Just as there are now many Christmas advent calendars specifically designed for adults, a new wave of chocolate Easter eggs boast sophisticated forms and ingredients to appeal to the same audience.
