This collection of April 2015 food innovations reflect not only the spring season, but various holidays and events that occur around this time of year. This includes a new crop of seasonal ingredients being used in new and creative recipes, Easter and opening day in baseball.

Chocolate and Easter go hand in hand, providing lots of opportunity for food brands and bakers alike. For example, limited edition Kit Kat chocolate bars in Japan have holiday-specific flavors, including carrot, along with cute bunny engravings in the chocolate itself.

A variety of baseball teams and stadiums have been announcing new menu items. In this way April 2015 food products continue to reflect hybrid foods, with sweet and savory combinations often inspired by standard ball park snacks.
