The photographer Ryan McGinley did an awesome job on these new ads. He's the one behind the new Wrangler 'we are animal' campaign as well. He has such a unique style. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
@Christina, the styling might not be Alber Elbaz's doing. Many fashion shows are styled by stylists, not the fashion designers who designed the pieces. Of course Alber has creative control & input, so he must have liked the creepy pervert vibe :) Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Awesome post Andrew, and such a great campaign. Rankin did an excellent job in the photography and film. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Hmmm, the (UPDATE) status of this trend is rather confusing. They are the same fashion designs, designer, & photo set (ads) of the one written by Sixty in the related. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Sweet. Thanks for the explanation M, I was always curious about that mechanism. Hunters can't flag using full edit on someone else's trend, so it will always be secondary position when a hunter flags another's trend. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
I love how the small USB fan and USB microwave made it into a 'Futuristic' cluster, lol. They hardly look cutting edge for today to be futuristic. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
How does a flag get in initial vs secondary? I flagged it right after I wrote it, so it was the first flag, but it showed in the 2nd field. This often happens in flags, they show in second field. Whats the criteria? Comment by Ayman Helweh |
This brings a technical issue, Jacob, aren't flags supposed to show inside the trend as well? Comment by Ayman Helweh |
You sure did, and I flagged this as duplicate myself, Nika :) The flag is not showing inside it, but you can see it in the feeds. You beat me to it while i was processing the pics, I submitted it like 10 mins after you yesterday, kudos! Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Wow, I didn't recognize her at all in that first pic. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Great choice for lead image and title Bianca! Comment by Ayman Helweh |
I agree with you Sandra, both you and your kids are lucky that you are able to be stay at home with them. It's worth more than any money you could earn at a job. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Ah, they have used old images from her previous ads. The forest, tattoo & water images are all old images from her sandal ads. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
Good eye Sandra! I didn't notice the food stains when I wrote the Megan Fox LBD post. I am surprised their handlers and staff didn't notice them and kinda cleaned them up before they took to stage at a big premier. Messy is not sexy for sure. Brilliantly creative trend idea! She's always creating buzz with her fashion. Denim is so right now, very cool. Comment by Ayman Helweh |
