Photographer Danila Tkachenko takes us on a lush journey through the trees in her wildlife photography series 'Escape.'
The Russian photographer's wildlife photography series invites us to see the places that inspire her and resonate with her the most; a place where the photographer always felt was the only place where she could feel like herself.
Capturing the people who actually chose to go against social standards and withdraw from society into the wild, this series shows viewers portraits of quiet men living in the verdant green of the woods.
"For me [the wilderness] is a place where I can hide and feel [like] the real me—my true self, out of any social context," says Tkachenko.
