As much as people appreciate and own minimalist pieces of furniture, there are those of us who want to express our individuality and tastes -- that's where the whyrHymer furniture factors in. An industrial design company, whyrHymer offers unique chairs, tables, lighting and beds that are full of character and personality.
Founded by LA-based designer and maker Brandon Morrison, whyrHymer offers furniture that is all handcrafted. That special touch gives each piece some added detail that is often missing from mass-produced furniture.
There seems to be influences from Asia, arts and crafts and mid-century modernity in each of the whyrHymer furniture pieces. What I especially appreciate, however, is how whyrHymer furniture donates 3 percent of each sale to a charity.
