Estudio Persona Unveils the 'Hilo' Collection

Estudio Persona has launched a new furniture collection dubbed ‘Hilo’ that focuses on how elements of an object support each other. The collection comes from the minds of Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young, two Uruguayan women who are based in Los Angeles, and features unique, one-of-a-kind offerings that work amicably when placed next to each other.

Offerings include a sofa and armchair duo named ‘Linea,’ a ‘Split’ coffee table of solid walnut and blackened steel, and the ‘Peel,’ a cabinet with a door that appears to be “peeling” down towards the floor.

Estudio Persona commented on the collection in a statement: “Hilo intends to show the unity of two or more elements together. The line work explores the interdependency of various elements – a balance of Intermission and continuity that aims to create tension between shapes and materials, using a void space to freely let the mind connect the pieces.”

The ‘Hilo’ collection is now available on Estudio Persona’s website and ranges from $9,000 USD to $19,000 USD.
