Starbucks Introduces Two New Frosty Caffeinated Drinks for the Summer

Starbucks specializes in customization, giving consumers the option to add extra pumps of espresso, different flavors, and dairy options -- this summer, the QSR chain released two new icy vegan cold brew coffees. The two drinks are the Almond Protein Blended Cold Brew and the Cacao Protein Blended Cold Brew. Both of the drinks start off with a simple base of cold brew concentrate, added in following are ice, a date, a banana fruit blend, and a plant-based protein rich with rice and peas.

The Almond Protein Blended Cold Brew substitutes regular milk with almond milk, with the inclusion of almond butter as well, with 12 grams of protein. The Cacao Protein Blended Cold Brew drink mixes coconut milk with cacao powder along with 10 grams of protein.
