Built by SPARK Architects, the Vanke New City Center Sales Gallery is located in Nanjing, China, and has an extremely angular design.
The building comes together in a sharp angle towards the front of the structure, giving it quite an intimidating presence. Moreover, the building is covered in a perforated material, which makes it stand out from the other pieces of architecture in its surroundings. Taking up one of the main corner areas of the building is a giant screen for playing digital content. Considering part of the space will be used for retail, this could be very helpful for business owners in terms of paying for advertisements. Having one's add play on a large screen right above your store is definitely one way to attract consumers walking by regularly.
