Under its online brand Jet.com, Walmart is launching a new product line called 'Uniquely J' that offers a variety of branded grocery and household goods—all of which are targeted at the savvy Millennial shopper.
Through Uniquely J, consumers will be able to easily order items like coffee pods, paper towels and olive oil that are packaged in bold, tattoo-inspired boxes. Through Jet.com, web shoppers are able to take advantage of buying larger quantities of items to receive lower prices. Uniquely J items are set to become available to consumers exclusively on Jet.com for a period of time, before they can be picked up at one's local Walmart.
Now that many Millennials are opting to shop online for small and big household essentials, many retailers are launching their own private label brands to establish trust and offer greater value to consumers.
