The Barker Freeman Design Office embarks on a renovation project that expands and increases the fluidity of space within this townhouse layout. The design studio experiments with a pair of front and rear extensions.
Barker Freeman Design Office shares that it selectively manipulated the volumes contained in the townhouse layout to "improve room sizes, sequences and adjacencies." The home itself is situated on a corner and it entertains a modern aesthetic. The local firm incorporates a wonderful feature in the form of a skylight that sheds natural light onto the staircase. During the reconfiguration process of the townhouse layout, the Barker Freeman Design Office opted to use rich and colorful interior design to open up the concept of the home.
