Sci-Fi Droid Chef Smocks

The R2-D2 Apron is Designed for Geeky Kitchen Queens

When it comes to getting nerdy in the kitchen, it doesn't get more geeky than the R2-D2 apron. This droid-inspired apron was created by Etsy merchant Jordandene and is made out of 100 percent cotton. This apron has a highly detailed front that will make any chef look exactly like Luke's favorite droid. Sorry C-3PO, but everyone knows that Luke like's R2 best.

The R2-D2 apron isn't the first Star Wars or even R2 apron to come out of Etsy and it certainly won't be the last. The endless onslaught of Star Wars aprons proves just how acceptable it is for a woman to be a nerd. Men can and do wear aprons, but the merchants who design aprons such as this R2-D2 one are overwhelmingly targeting women. The R2-D2 apron sells for $60 and is available in Jordandene's Etsy store.
