The new LEGO R2-D2 set launched by the brand continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the cult series Star Wars. R2-D2 is a beloved intergalactic droid character from the series and LEGO is launching a brick version made up of 1050 LEGO blocks later in March.
This is not the first time that the character has been reimagined by LEGO as he was done so 3 years ago with 2214 pieces. This time around, it gets a new and smaller build with a closer focus to cater to the younger audience of the fanbase. When completed, R2-D2 stands 24cm tall with additional elements such as the moveable head, adjustable third leg, various tools, and a periscope.
