SNACKADE Offers a "Playable Food Delivery" Experience

SNACKADE combines snacks and arcade gaming to produce what it calls a "snack-dispensing video game arcade machine"—meaning that any snacks collected by the player in-game are also received in the real world.

At this year’s Sugar Mountain Festival, SNACKADE gave event attendees the chance to participate in a unique food delivery experience. By engaging with popular retro games like Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country, players had the chance to feed their desire for entertainment and real snacks at once. While playing Pac-Man, players were rewarded with chocolate gold coins for collecting gold pellets and cherries for collecting in-game cherries; these real-world food items were delivered to players via a conveyor belt system.

SNACKADE comes from the creators of Jafflechutes, an unconventional pop-up eatery that parachuted sandwich orders to people.
