At this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NXP presented its vision for the future of shopping with the Smart Market. The Smart Market takes the form of an unstaffed store that creates highly personalized and interactive experiences through NXP’s portfolio of NFC and RFID products and services, secure payment technologies and more.
The Smart Market showed off 24/7 access, self-checkout stations capable of detecting products in a shopping basket or cart, intelligent refrigerators with RFID inventory management, mobile loyalty programs, electronic shelf labels and wearable payment devices.
For its Smart Market CES 2019 exhibit, NXP teamed up with brands and technology suppliers including Kraft Heinz and Coca Cola, Decathlon, Ingenico and TPG Rewards to show off the possibilities for enhancing convenience, as well as customer satisfaction and engagement in a meaningful way.
