Walmart Unveiled New Retail Technologies at CES 2024

Walmart unveiled a variety of retail technologies at CES 2024 to provide consumers and competitors alike with a glimpse into how the shopping experience is slated to evolve in the near-future.

The brand started off by revealing the GenAI-powered search experience for iOS customers, which enables searching more broadly to return cohesive results rather than needing to search items individually. The brand also provided additional details on the Walmart InHome Replenishment service that harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver goods as they're required and stock them into a kitchen fridge. Finally, the Shop with Friends platform provides a socialized experience by enabling shoppers to pick out garments, create virtual outfits and get feedback from friends.
