The Skywalk Treehouse is an unorthodox approach to home design that shows us a truly ethereal dwelling that would offer extraordinary view of the surrounding landscape as well as firsthand interaction with the tree canopy.

The treehouse consists of two sections including the Living Module and the Bedroom module, which are positioned on two Victorian Mountain Ash trees. Each of the modules are connected together with cabling that allows each one to move and sway independently when the trees move or the wind blows in varying directions. The Skywalk Treehouse offers ample space for living, but the true pinnacle comes in the form of the private balcony that offers unforgettable views.

The treehouse is the design work of a team of student designers Kyle Chen, Jeremy Wooldridge and Alix Rohner, and was submitted as an entry to the TreeHouse Award Competition.
