The Tree House by the Lake is designed by local Vietnamese design studio H2 and it is defined by recycled metal sheets and repurposed wood and glass materials. The home is located along the shores of Da BAng Lake right in the Chau Duc District. It was commissioned by an elderly couple who were looking for a space to bring their grandchildren closer to the beauty of nature.
It has a shaded canopy and the design influence references the look of a traditional tree house elevated from the ground. H2 speaks about the design project to Dezeen, stating that "The aim of the project is to create a house that blends in with the woods. The building has a rustic, idyllic appearance of old materials, along with the interior and everything in the house is very simple and light, to make room for sunlight, wind and trees to play."
