Green Garden-Surrounding Homes

Cote Architects Designs the Hillside House in Hue City

Cote Architects designs the Hillside House located in Hue City, Vietnam. It is surrounded by beautiful greenery with carefully curated gardens and rests at a high vantage point to showcase captivating views on top of a descending slope. It is designed in the form of two stacked glass boxes as the house breaks up into voids around the surrounding walls to open up ventilation and invite natural light.

The walls are made from floor-to-veiling with black framed windows. The backside of the house opens up to a porch with wide stairs down to the yard. The second floor is designed with green climbing upwards along the wires to a shrouded balcony appearing to be within the trees.
