Measured Architecture Designs the Shor House Project

Design studio Measured Architects created the Shor House Project, which is a home located in the Mayne land on top of a sloped site with views of the Navy Channel. The home is defined by its use of salvaged lumber and corten steel to form a waterfront residence.
This is a testament of recycled materials integrated through the design and construction process, exploring a zero-take approach. The house is home to the founder of the firm, Clinton Cuddington who works from home remotely and also spends holidays in the nature area. A lot of the house is made from wood and the exterior walls are clad in Corten steel plates due to its limited maintenance needs and recycled sensibilities.
