Urban development is a complicated process, as it encompasses a dense gnarl of factors that can interrelate in vastly complex and difficult to predict ways, and the new SESC building in Sao Paolo is representative of all the aspects of urban planning coming together in one elegant solution. The mixed-use building is meant to serve as a community hub in the center of the massive Brazilian city, and it incorporates many different facilities and service to bring people together.
The most notable aspect of the SESC building is its rooftop swimming pool, though it has many other attractive features for the community at large. One of those is a relaxation area in the middle of the building with a wading pool and ample shade to help people cool down on the hottest days.
