French artist Vincent Falk's 'Screen Puzzle' concept fuses together Falk's original photographs from images from the news media to create a visually stunning and intellectually stimulating compound image.
Screen Puzzle makes use of the media's conditioning of the modern world, and the fact virtual world and fiction occasionally take precedence over reality in modern life. By fusing images together, a state of confusion is created. Falk's work is to assemble the images to make it possible for a viewer to derive some sort of meaning from it; these interpretations may vary from viewer to viewer.
Falk says that while he does have his own interpretation of each piece, he welcomes other interpretations from viewers to might derive a different meaning from his collages based on their unique perception of art, the media and the world at large.
