Champagne-Inspired Carbonated Drinks

Schweppes' Packaging Resembles an Upscale Bottle of Bubbly

Rather than packaging its carbonated beverage by the plastic bottle or can, Schweppes is now introducing a sophisticated series of glassware bottles that reshape the rituals surrounding the drink. Switching to glass also means that the drinks are kept carbonated for longer, and references the shape of the original "skittle" bottle created by Jacob Schweppe himself.

As the new glass bottles take inspiration from champagne, consumers are invited to rediscover how they serve, pour, present and sip the beverages available from Schweppes.

In comparison with the old design, the packaging now introduces an all-new logotype that is no longer paired with images of bubbles. Across various Schweppes flavors, the yellow wrap remains unchanged, yet highlights the different products available like Indian Tonic Water and Lemonade.
