Pop-Up Shoe Stores

This Mobile Shop Lets Customers Experiment with High-Tech Footwear

The Boost Experience by Adidas is an interactive pop-up shoe store that is currently touring across the United States. Unlike a traditional retail outlet, this mobile shop gives customers an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the brand's more innovative footwear designs.

The pop-up shoe store debuted at the San Francisco Marathon and is scheduled to stop at 14 other locations throughout the United States. The interactive outlet goes beyond the traditional in-store experience by providing a number of interactive touchpoints. Some of these high-tech displays include kinetic walls that move in response to foot traffic as well as motion-capture cameras that record and analyze a customer's movements. Beyond engaging with customers at the event, the store also provides outlets for sharing the experience on social media.

The mobile shop gives customers a chance to interact with new technology and subsequently share the experience with friends and family.
