Planted Plant-Based Hoisin Duck is a 100% plant-based product arriving in the UK as a first of its kind solution that will enable consumers to enjoy the namesake meat in an animal-free manner.

The product contains no additives, and is crafted with a mix of sunflowers, oats and pears to give it the perfect texture that's tender and juicy but also crispy with a touch of a caramelized finish. The product is making its debut now at 350 Tesco locations across the UK alongside the Planted Plant-Based Kebab Meat and Lemon & Herb Flavour Plant-Based Chicken.

VP of Commercial for Europe Rob Reames spoke on the Planted Plant-Based Hoisin Duck saying, "At Planted, we’re bucking the trend of plant-based doomsters with a launch into a major retailer with a brand new packaging to boot. It’s a real moment for the business, particularly as we’ll also be launching our delicious hoisin duck, which has been created due to high consumer demand."
