The Pipistrel Alpha Electro Airplane is a two-person trainer plane that identifies what can be done to make the process of learning to fly more efficient and cost-effective. Featuring a short takeoff distance that makes it perfect for use at smaller airfields, the plane has a 1,000fpm climb speed and will offer one hour of flight per charge. This makes it perfect for lessons, while also working to cut the operating costs that are associated with pilot training by up to 70% in addition to having a zero-emissions design.

The Pipistrel Alpha Electro Airplane has been developed for training purposes but identifies a larger shift towards electric air travel solutions as companies aim to curb operating costs and emissions for a leaner bottom line.
