Portuguese grocery brand Continente expanded the Pack Poupança—or Savings Pack—range to provide everyday essentials to Portuguese people during the pandemic. The Pack Poupança range consists of a collection of Continente's popular private label products that come in larger, family-friendly formats. The range is offered at a cost-effective price point to ensure that these essentials are accessible by all. The Pack Poupança range contains 50 products including olive oil, canned tuna, packaged pasta, coffee capsules, napkins, and more.
The Pack Poupança initiative builds trust and goodwill between the Continente brand and its consumers. At a time of uncertainty, the brand is taking part in providing for and protecting the community. Alongside the expansion of the Pack Poupança range, Continente also pledged to cut down on plastic pollution by adding attached caps to many of the brand's bottles.
