Ocean Plastic-Made Chairs

The Mater Ocean Chair is Made from Waste Found in the Ocean

Each passing year, more and more plastic waste is entering our waterways and oceans, and in an effort to reduce this pollution, Mater has launched a line of 'Ocean Chairs.' These remarkable chairs are made from ocean plastic waste including fishing nets and hard plastic and the brand was recently awarded the 'Wallpaper Magazines Design' in early 2019 for its sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

These minimalistic chairs boast a classic and timeless design from the 1950s that can be seamlessly added to any style of decor. The Mater Ocean Chair features a lightweight structure with metal frames and repeated slats to create a durable piece of furniture suitable for interior and exterior use. Consumers can purchase the chairs in two colorways -- 'Back' or 'Concrete Green.'
