This creative movie poster ad series from Netflix was designed to promote the launch of the movie streaming service in France using only GIFs. As much as this alone would speak to people who love the Internet and pop culture, what makes this campaign really stand out is that each of the GIF advertisements is reactive to local news, weather, events, or the specific location of that ad. For example, if it was raining in a particular location, an ad on a bus shelter might change to show a scene from a rainy movie along with a comical quip about how you could be warm and cozy watching a movie at home.

In total, over 100 different digital billboards were set up in France.
