Sweating Billboards

Netflix's Billboard Conveys the Intense Action of Extraction 2

To create intrigue for Extraction 2 and draw people into the action in an interactive way, Netflix created a sweating billboard. To make these perspiring billboards in New York City and Los Angeles, Netflix used lasers to cut small holes into a photo of Chris Hemsworth and used the pore-like holes to disperse droplets of water from a hidden supply.

Rather than being displayed high up on buildings, these billboards are located on sidewalks so that passersby can take their photo with the image of the star and even wipe away "sweat."

This memorable billboard makes viewers feel like they're a part of the action and it draws them into the story of former black ops mercenary Tyler Rake.
