Minimalist Milk Branding

Cute Concept Packaging by Michela Monterosso for Flavored Milk

Michela Monterosso created concept packaging for flavored milk using clever Japanese words and a minimalist approach.

I love the minimalist look and the revival of milk bottles that was once used back in the day. There is also a package design for milk cartons that embodies a modern look unlike conventional milk products. Michela Monterosso keeps the branding simple by matching the different flavors of milk offered with simple colors. He also uses creative Japanese words to represent the different tastes including 'sweet' (vanilla), 'morning' (coffee) and 'shizuku' (strawberry).

I can definitely see these cutesy milk bottles and cartons by Michela Monterosso being sold in a shop in Tokyo -- this packaging would be a smash hit in Japan.
