Born and raised in the heart of downtown Toronto, I am a true city gal. I am indulgent of superficial pleasures and is a loyal consumer of all things pretty, fashionable and pop cultured. In truth, I can be deemed as a brand sucker. Knowing this, it only makes sense that I would be the perfect fit for any marketing role as I already like to stay on top of trends and consumer behavior. Currently I am focused in completing my final year in my marketing studies and I cannot wait to hit the floor running.

What is unique that's not in your bio?
I love to eat but my most favorite food would probably be rice. I will freak out if I don't eat rice in more than two days, and when I eat it, I can easily have five bowls in one sitting. I will eat it with anything and everything (lasagna, shepherd's pie and bacon are some examples). As long as it's there, I am a happy camper.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
Every time I try something out of my comfort zone is an accomplishment in itself.
How do you define cool?
I define cool as confidence. No matter what it may be, as long as there is confidence backing it up or a portrayal of confidence, it is automatically cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
I have always been an avid reader thus my Google Reader is filled with many different publications and blogs. I check it like I check my email (that means a lot).
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
I love writing articles and seeing them published on the front page. It excites me to know that people are reading my work and engaging in the same interests as myself. I also gain a lot of insightful, trendy information that I like to share with everyone else. It makes me sound smarter and cooler and who doesn't like that?
What is your favorite trend?
The online space of social media - it changes the landscape of business and one's personal lifestyle. It intrigues and excites me.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
When you find something juicy to share with the world, pay very close attention to the title and first image. It is the first and foremost impression to grab from Trend Hunter's million of viewers.
How do you reset to be creative?
Three words: take a walk. In this (digital) age, it's hard not to take your eyes off your smart phone, lift your head up from your laptop or stop procrastinating on Facebook. Sometimes a simple walk (IRL!) is all you need.
What inspires or excites you?
Anyone who has perseverance, determination and passion to achieve something out of their reach inspires me.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
Every time I think of the future I think of Tom Cruise's movie from 2002, Minority Report. All the tech from that movie is what I predict for 2020.
