This mechanical art is quite the break from the norm of animal-inspired art. Photography captures specific animal characteristics, paintings capture the sadness of animals and their surroundings and videos shows us the way animals live and interact. These images show us animals in a completely different way.

The International Anti-Poaching Foundation or IAPF has been trying to help animals in the African savanna that have been poached for years. Robert Chew aka CrazyAsian1 on DeviantArt is aiding in the cause by selling his robo-mech images and donating the proceeds to the cause.

The mechanical animal art prints feature endangered animals in their most feral looking forms covered head to claw in robotic armor. These images are stark and bold, and you can feel the mechanical menace in the eyes of the animal. These giant animals like the rhino, bear and lion look to be on the prowl while surrounded by gun toting militia men. They may be the hunted but in these images they are definitely the hunters
