Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken is moving beyond its signature chicken recipe to add a new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich.
For those unfamiliar, Nashville Hot Chicken is a specific fried chicken recipe that consists of marinating chicken in a water-based blend of seasonings, and then coating the fried chicken in a cayenne-spiced sauce. Now, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken is putting its own spin of the classic dish with its very own Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The new sandwich consists of a five-ounce chicken filet flavored that's been fried and then covered in Lee’s bold and bright, hot-but-not-too-fiery version of Nashville Hot sauce. The sandwich is also paired with some pickle coins and served on a fluffy brioche bun.
