Immersive Laser Installations

MINI and United Visual Artists Team up to Create 'Parallels'

When it comes to immersive sound and laser installations, MINI and the United Visual Artists team have definitely outdone themselves. Presented at Milan Design Week, the work is titled 'Parallels,' and is meant to symbolize just how connected everyone is in the world.

For visitors to the installation, expect to walk into a darkened room, with large spheres towards the back. These balls of light almost look like the effect of a solar eclipse, as rays are just being emitted from the areas around the outside. Moreover, these light rays change in colors from a neural gray hue to a brighter blue and green. The team behind the installation is trying to show how immaterial the world is becoming, as technology becomes more and more integrated into everyday life.
