The change was done with the help of advertising company 'FCB Chicago' and design firm 'GrandArmy.' The collaborative effort resulted in a series of vibrant, simplistic and informative designs. Different styles of typography are combined for the pieces, working to draw attention to key features that the KFC brand boasts to consumers while staying true to its iconic colors.
The company makes clear its Southern roots while also making known its focus on fresh food -- marked by the inclusion of illustrations of chickens and words like "MADE FRESH DAILY" placed throughout the ads. The rebranding campaign is said to have been utilized for all of KFC's future efforts regarding packaging, marketing and store design.
